Privacy Policy — Kids Jisho

Kids Jisho ("the App") is an iOS application provided by zheng weng ("the Developer"). The App is designed so that children can use it safely: it does not collect personal information.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information. There is no account or sign-in.
- Search history, wordbook, learning records, settings and the parent PIN are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the Developer's servers.
- The App contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
2. Device features

Each feature can be turned off in Parent Settings.
3. External websites
Only when a parent enables "Allow external search" in Parent Settings, the word detail screen can open Google (SafeSearch locked on) and Wikipedia inside the App. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies. The in-app browser does not persist cookies or browsing history. This option is off by default.
4. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users including children under 13. Because no personal information is collected, no parental consent under COPPA, GDPR-K or similar regulations is required.
5. Deleting your data
All data lives on your device. Deleting the App removes it completely.

If this policy changes, this page will be updated.
